
WEATHER MAN is the story of a man, David Spritz, with a fairly easy job having a really crappy life. In the shadow of his father, a successful writer, David tries to fix his life, his family and his carreer. Is it a soulful look into a man down on his luck or is it just a 2 hour downer leaving you with very little on your way out the theatre?
David Pritz is a man with very little substance. While I'm not a huge Nicolas Cage fan, I'll say that he did an okay job portraying this character. Michael Caine on the other hand gives a much better performance than Cage. This is mainly due to the fact Caine's character is a more inner-developed character, giving Caine a wider range of emotions and feelings to portray. Cage pretty much just cycles from frustration to depression to anger, then back to frustration.
